This product HT-240 is mainly used in thermosetting processes with metal molds (such as pultrusion processes). It is generally not recommended for ambient-temperature curing systems. It offers many advantages in improving the molding processes of unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins, including:
·Reduces high labor costs and downtime associated with the use of external mold release agents.
·Lowers mold release agent costs compared with other conventional internal release agents.
·Helps clean the mold during processing.
·Protects steel molds from corrosion.
·Easily disperses in resin.
·Improves resin wet-out of reinforcing materials.
·Enhances resin flowability and increases line speed.
·Improves the surface quality of finished parts.
·Does not affect post-processing operations such as painting or bonding.Active Ingredients

Instructions for Use
General:
To achieve optimal performance, preliminary trials are recommended to determine the appropriate dosage. Under normal conditions, the effective addition level is 0.5% – 1.5% by weight of the resin, excluding reinforcements, pigments, and fillers. The typical starting dosage for an internal mold release agent is 1%. In highly filled systems, the dosage should be increased accordingly.
Mixing:
Add the internal mold release agent to the resin system and mix thoroughly before adding the curing agent, fillers, and other additives.

The FRP internal mold release agent may cause irritation to the skin and eyes. In its undiluted form, it has been shown to be corrosive to rabbit skin. It has low acute oral toxicity.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin whenever possible. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves and protective goggles when handling the product. In case of accidental contact with skin or if the product splashes into the eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, and then seek further treatment or medical attention if necessary. If the product is spilled on clothing, the clothing should be washed before being worn again.
This product may freeze at temperatures below 5° C. Freezing does not affect the chemical composition or performance of the product. To thaw the product, place the container on a heating plate (for metal containers) for a short time, or immerse the plastic container in hot water above 50°C for more than 30 minutes until the product returns to its normal state.
